Sisterhood on the Go was established in August 2019 by a group of nine women who shared a passion for embarking on a Girls Trip to New Orleans. Over the past seven years, the organization has grown significantly, aiming to broaden its reach and impact. While the Annual Girls Trips have provided and connection for members, the founder is motivated by a larger vision to empower women through meaningful connections and support.

The organization is committed to promoting sisterhood, self-care, and personal development, encouraging women to prioritize their well-being. Looking to the future, Sisterhood on the Go intends to expand its offerings beyond Girls Trips. While these trips will remain an integral of the organization’s activities, there is a desire to enhance its scope with initiatives such as workshops, retreats, and mentorship programs that facilitate learning and growth among women.

As we enter a new year, we are pleased to announce our Advocacy Program. Commencing in October 2025, we will introduce our Community Advocacy Program, which will focus on History and Civic education, Voter Education, and year-round Community Voter engagement all aimed at advocating for Voter Protection and growth.
